About Utilith

Small tools, built to actually be useful

Utilith is a collection of focused, free utilities for text, development and everyday file jobs. No bloat, no upsells, nothing to install.

Why this exists

Most of the work involved in everyday digital chores is small and unglamorous: cleaning up text that came from a PDF, making sense of an API response, shrinking a photo before emailing it, turning a set of images into a PDF. Each job needs a page, but most of those pages are crowded with upsells, watermarks, or an email wall halfway through the task.

Utilith takes the opposite approach. One page, one job. Every tool works on the spot and gives you the result straight away.

How the tools work

All of the processing happens inside your browser using standard web APIs — the canvas element for images, the built-in JSON parser for data, and plain JavaScript for text. There is no upload endpoint and no processing server, which means two things: the tools stay fast, and your content never leaves the machine you are sitting at.

You can verify this yourself. Open your browser's network panel, use a tool, and you will see the page make no requests at all while you work.

What we care about

Privacy that is structural

Local processing is not a policy we can change later — it is how the tools are built. There is nothing to opt out of.

Speed you can feel

No spinner, no queue, no waiting for a round trip. Results appear while you are still typing.

Nothing to install

Open a page and start working — no downloads, no plugins, no setup steps.

Works on any screen

Every page is responsive down to a small phone, because the fastest computer is the one you already have.

Who is behind it

Utilith is an independent project built by a developer who kept re-writing the same tiny utilities and eventually decided to keep them in one place. There is no team, no office and no roadmap beyond adding the next tool that proves useful in real work.
